Hengchi Auto is a new energy vehicle brand under China Evergrande Group and was established in 2019. By integrating the world's top resources, the brand has built an entire industry chain covering vehicle manufacturing, power systems, intelligent networking and other fields. Hengchi Auto adopts a global integrated R & D model, cooperates with internationally renowned suppliers, and has established advanced intelligent manufacturing bases in Tianjin and other places.

However, due to the financial crisis of its parent company Evergrande Group, Hengchi Auto experienced difficulties such as production suspension and layoffs. Although the resumption of production was announced in May 2023, the funding issue has not yet been fundamentally resolved.
